Pants-On-Fire Pelosi Speaks About Town Halls

When asked whether the health care reform protests at town halls around the country were legitimate, Nancy Pelosi said this: “I think they’re AstroTurf. You be the judge. They’re carrying swastikas and symbols like that to a town meeting on health care.”

I’ve watched lots of these videos, and seen more on the news. I saw no swastikas, and you can be assured that if they were carrying that symbol the mainstream media would be more than happy to show you the pictures 24/7. Conclusion: Nancy Pelosi is a dirty, rotten, filthy, stinking liar. But then, you knew that.

Or maybe she’s just confused the protestors against Obama with her fellow travelers on the Left. (WARNING: This link will take you to Democratic Underground. You will need a lot of disinfectant and a strong shower to make yourself right again after descending into this particular swamp.)

Nah…she’s a liar.

This doesn’t mean that Pelosi is not lying. For starters, this is one picture of one person and Pelosi clearly is insinuating that this kind of sign is common at these town halls when they aren’t. So I enter the picture as evidence that I may be wrong. But I’m not wrong. She’s still a dirty, rotten, filthy, stinking, liar.

Pelosi Speaks What’s Left Of Her Mind

The dirty, rotten, filthy stinking liar Nancy “Pants-On-Fire” Pelosi came out with a statement about insurance companies now, calling them “immoral” and “villains” for daring to speak out against a government-run health care system.

Make no mistake, the increasingly shrill and pointless Pelosi actually believes the claptrap that she spouts. In her mind there are two types of people: the heroes in the Democrat party who want government to take over health care, and villains. All who oppose the Red Queen are villains, and we know what should happen to villains from years of watching movies: hail of bullets, clanging jail cell doors, floating off to sea on icebergs…that type of stuff.

I would hope that the insurance companies who have spent the last few months bending over for Barack Obama will take note of the rhetoric coming from the Left. Obama has threatened the insurance companies with “losing a seat at the table” if they run ads against the health care plan. The insurance companies should be listening to the Head Chef of this health care debacle, Nancy Pelosi. The insurance companies were only invited to the table for one reason: to be carved up and served as a main course to an ever-ravenous government bureaucracy that will never, ever, get enough to eat.

Every once in a while these people speak their alleged minds and I become more convinced than ever that the worst of them (and there are many) would put me in a camp. You, too, if you’re reading this.

Pants-On-Fire Pelosi Less Popular Than Vlad The Impaler

According to a new Gallup poll, the approval ratings for Nancy Pants-On-Fire Pelosi are actually lower than the approval ratings for former VP Dick Cheney.

I’m not particularly surprised by this. In fact, I don’t understand Cheney’s low ratings except to note that they are the byproduct of being portrayed as evil incarnate for the last nine years by everyone from Tom Brokaw to David Letterman.

But now Cheney is unleashed and, far from being the fire-breathing dragon of popular lore, he is coming across as the reasonable and responsible public servant he is now and always has been. Most importantly, he is being increasingly seen as an adult in a foreign policy world inhabited by obsequious and ignorant children.

Polls are what they are, of course, and they change like the wind. I try not to put too much faith in them, but these findings were just too delicious to resist. The great satisfaction in this, to me, is to know how this must be scrambling the brains of those on the Left. As far as they are concerned, this poll indicates that Snow White is less popular than Darth Vader, that Queen Victoria is somewhere below Adolf Hitler in approval ratings, and that Mother Teresa has a likability quotient below Caligula.

I wonder how they’ll react in a couple of years if St. Barry’s approval ratings drop below Bush’s?

Newt On Nan

I was kind of hoping that when The Clampdown came for me I’d end up sharing a re-education cell at the Barack Obama Tolerance Camp with Michelle Malkin or Laura Ingraham. Oh hell, I’m still hoping for that. A boy can still dream, can’t he? They haven’t put that under government control yet, have they?

If he keeps up with this line of unacceptable thought, it looks like I’ll have a different cellmate, though.

BREAKING NEWS: Pelosi’s Pants Still Burning!

Now San Fran Nan is accusing the CIA of lying in their official memos about what and when she was told about waterboarding.

This has been a lot of fun but, seriously, it’s time to just admit the truth, Nan.

The truth is that you’re still a filthy, rotten, stinking liar. And maybe even smelly, too!

The truth is that you were told the Administration had legal opinions validating the use of waterboarding, that waterboarding had been used, and that it might be used again. The truth is that in a post-9/11 mindset, it was politically expedient for you to be hawkish and act really butch when it came to the interrogation of terrorists. The truth is that you said nothing and did nothing to denounce or prevent the use of waterboarding (i.e., it was just fine with you). The truth is that California rep Jane Harmon spoke to you about writing a letter denouncing waterboarding and you refused to sign it. The truth is that the politics changed and suddenly it became politically expedient to loudly decry the interrogation techniques that the former VP claims saved thousands of lives. The truth is that you are a liar and that it is not a seven-year-old memo but rather you, the Speaker of the House, who is lying to Congress and the American people every time you open your mouth about this subject.

Nan, you may think that you are somehow fighting the good fight and acting as a real profile in courage, but the truth of the matter is that you’re just a liar of the worst kind. In the Democrat Culture of Corruption, you are the cherry on top of the crap sundae.
